How much does an interpreter in Geneva cost?

The price depends in particular on the mode, duration (half day or full day), languages and equipment. We therefore send you a detailed, free quote for your event.

How many interpreters do I need?

For a full day of simultaneous interpreting, you usually need two interpreters per booth and per language. However, a short consecutive meeting can be handled by a single interpreter.

Do you provide the equipment?

Yes, in particular booths, headsets, transmitters and receivers, as well as an on-site technician. We can also set up a remote interpreting platform.

What is the difference between simultaneous and consecutive?

In simultaneous mode, the interpreter speaks at the same time as the speaker, from a booth. In consecutive mode, they interpret after each statement, which is therefore better suited to small groups.

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally two to four weeks before the event, especially for rare languages. However, urgent requests are possible, depending on availability.

Do interpreters receive our documents?

Yes, and it matters: they can therefore prepare terminology and proper names. Our interpreters are also bound by confidentiality.
